My Thoughts
This article shows the drive of the community to abbolish crime in there area. Although they know that crime will not leave forever, they have realized they can put a serious crack in the crime rate. I believe that this is a heroic act of concern for the well being of a community. I am happy to see that the community can depend on their local police officers to do their job.
Poitical relationship
Although this may not directly affect the national government of Namibia it does affect the local governments of the affected area. If this opperation is successful it could however filter up to the national government, and we could see national efforts to put criminals behind bars. Crime is an everlasting problem that every contry has or will have to deal with. It is a direct reflection on how the country is lead on a national level that will prepare a small area to lead itself. The political potentioal of this effort is to lower the crime rate on a local and possibly a national level.
