Executive branchThe president is elected by the Knesset for a seven year term. There is a one term limit for the president, and the next election is set for 2014, however it can be called earlier. After the election the president works with the Knesset to assign certain projects to the most qualified person.
The judicial branchMembers must be at least 70 years of age to be elected. Elections are held by the Judicial Selection Committee. This committee is made up by all three brances of government.
